CEO's Analysis

> CEO_ANALYSIS.LOG // EURUSD // 2026-03-08

An A-grade setup that unfortunately didn't work out. Respect the stop, respect the process.

EURUSD was holding the H4 range support at 1.0887, with D1 and H1 both bullish. The fundamentals were supportive — German industrial output beat (+0.8% vs +0.3% expected), providing short-term EUR tailwind.

However, looking back, there were warning signs I should have weighted more heavily: H4 was neutral (not bullish), suggesting lack of strong momentum. Volume was only 1.1x average — insufficient to confirm institutional demand at the level. And while FOMC minutes were 10 hours away, the market was already cautiously positioned for USD-positive surprise.

Price broke below the H4 support cleanly at 12:30, taking out the SL. No gap, no manipulation — a clean break. The level simply didn't hold.

This is how proper risk management works. We took -1R on a valid A-grade setup. The system is working correctly. Over 100 trades, taking -1R losses is how we preserve capital while the +2.5R winners compound.

The lesson here: when H4 is neutral, I should be more selective about entry timing and consider waiting for H4 to confirm.
